To start of, I have never owned a 4-wheel-drive prior to the "tank". First let me tell you - Great on the snow! My wife drives a '98 Transport Montana (4 kids), I wanted to get something bigger then my X-Audi100 - well, I do not think it is getting any bigger then Suburban. I go t EVERYTHING right away: heated leather seats, captains, 3rd row, flip-down TV, VCR and everything else it comes with except a sun-roof (could not put it due to a flip-down TV). Very roomy and captains seats are the way to go. With kids, we found out that leather was much easier to clean. Downfalls: I purchsed about $7,000 in additional electornics to put in it and Delco (brand of parts in GM) is a b..ch to modify. For a second battery - special isolator was needed! Stereo-just sucks, despite the fact of 9 speakers with a sub. You can't add on to the stereo without ripping it out and putting your own - stereo has to be a weird size, therefore Very careful planning is needed if you plan to put your own. on-Star - came with a truck for free and free service for a year, otherwise I can't imagine anyone paying for it. Compared to a '98 Pontiac Mini-Van, it is much easier to take apart on the inside - which helps if you are about to run wires all over, amps, sub box, 2000 inverter. One of the design flaws - look at the power wire from the alternator (130amp -standard) to the battery | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Stereo
