Suburban 4X4 Z71
| | Model of the car: | Suburban 4X4 Z71 | | | General comments: | MSRP- 42,000, Paid 34,800. I have really enjoyed this vehicle mostly due to the size and comfort on long trips. I owned 3 Toyota 4-Runners prior and really needed the room with a new baby. I have always liked Suburban and heard good reviews from friends and family who have owned. But, when I drove by the Chevy dealership and saw the Z-71 package on a Suburban, I had to have one for myself. What a great looking SUV. The Z71 package includes, in addition to all the 4X4 stuff, special 17" rims, nerf bars, body colored fender well flares, body colored front grille and bumpers, nicely integrated fog lamps and a unique roof rack, plus the Z-71 badging. It really distinguishes it from other Suburbans and gives it a more sporty | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Yes, it drinks a lot of gas. To those of you complaining, this should not come as a shock if you read the window sticker MPG ratings! Get over it. The Z-71 does not come with thermostat controlled air. This should be standard on a 40K vehicle. The leather is kinda cheap. Does not have auto up and down controls for front windows. Again, should be standard on this type of car. Engine needs to be mated with a better transmission. Down shifting is not always smooth. | | | Previous car: | 94.95,97 Toyota 4-Runners, 01 Jetta VR6, 94 Honda Prelude, 93 Toyota Camery |
