Chevrolet Suburban

 Model of the car:Chevrolet Suburban
General comments:Love the car! I use to drive a Dodge Grand Crap-avan. First of all, let me say that no real man should drive a Mom-van.
My wife hated the Grand Crap-avan, no power, the V8 5.3 liter engines makes SURE you're on the freeway at least 65 mph, nice power, the handling is great drives like a car. When I test drove it that is one of the things I liked about it, I was able to do u-turn even in the tighest streets. My family ( two boys and wife) take long trips anywhere from 3 to 12 hours, this is the car for long trips, this past summer we got caught in a snow storm in Gallup, NM for one hour, had no problems the suburban handled well, it's extremely comfortable, you can fit two families in this car, we have fitted up to 10 people. This summer we are driving it to San Francisco for a week, can't wait to get behind the wheel. Around town my wife loves it ( this IS her car after all, I drive an Audi A4) gives her all the room she needs for groceries, and the other things she buys ( the woman practically lives in Wall-Mart) the kids can get in and out really easy ( a two and 5 year old). I have taken it in to the dealership twice once for a bad ozone senzor which kept giving an ozone alarm, and the second time it was for a noice when turning the wheel which they said it was a dry cross section bar bearing. that was about four months ago and I'm starting to hear it again. Nothing major so far.
What things have gone wrong with the car:Audio system SUCKS! too much base in the back not enough in the front. GAS mileage sucks if you can afford this car and the gas prices buy it. The front passenger seat will not fold down all the way, I would like this feature specially in long trips. No three way memory setting, for 40+ Gran they should've included this.
Previous car:Isuzu Trooper, Dodge Grand Caravan.
