1999 Chevrolet Suburban Review, Dan, From Michigan

	General comments:	Overall I would have to say that I have had a bad
	What things have gone wrong with the car:	Gas mileage is horrible. Be prepared to pay big for gas. Brakes are horrible. This thing goes through brake pads like oil changes..every 3000 miles you will need brake pads. Count on it. Fairly expensive routine maintenance. My 30,000 service cost around $400. Yes, $400...for a Chevy! Fan blower squeaks on low. Had it fixed. Started squeaking again. Had a fuel leak. Had to get it towed so it wouldn't explode. Noisy noisy fuel pump! Always hear that whine. Check engine light came on twice after filling up at the station. Screw that cap on tight, it will leak fuel too.
	Previous car:	Mercury Mountaineer. Very truck-like bouncy ride compared to Suburban but way more reliable.
