| | Model of the car: | Chevt Suburban | | | General comments: | After 50,000 pampered, garage kept, never towed anything miles......Never, Never, Never will I buy a Chevrolet product after experiencing the Chevy shaft!!! | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Besides the obvious 12 mpg., this truck EATS brakes every 10K to 15k miles without towing anything! In the 4 years I have owned this beast, I have had nothing but problems:
1.) Doors rubbing paint off the Vehicle body frame where they make contact
2.) Oil leaks after 15k miles, from the oil pan gasket...the oil filter adapter ring (replaced 3X), hosees to oil filter cooler replaced, heads, etc.
3.) Tranny Leaks (fixed 2X), pinion seals replaced (front and rear)
4.) Lower radiator hose replaced
5.) Intake Seal (Where coolant enters Engine)had to be replaced (over $350) because it was leaking coolant into engine oil.
6.) Mirrors on doors replaced but they shake so violently at 50mph you cannot even see if anyone is beside you.
7.) Although I contaced Chevy at 15K miles with these constant problems..after 36,000 miles (warranty end) they want nothing to do with me. Obviously this truck has design flaws in its systems, but Chevy would rather crap on their customers then help them! I just wanted them to shar ein teh costs of som eof these repairs that were recurring since the vehicle was under warranty and they REFUSED!
