| | Model of the car: | Toyota PU | | | General comments: | Good little truck with excellent 4-wheel drive. If you don't have enough clearance just get up enough speed and let the skid plates handle the impact, but make sure your seat belt is fastened or you may dent the roof with your head. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Tires eventually wear out, not much power, not much hauling capacity. Overhead interior lite cover fell off in the last few years and the dashboard vinyl cracked a few years ago. Having been a construction company vehicle, it may not last 300K before needing a new transmission or engine. Rough ride. | | | Previous car: | Ford, GM, and Dodge fleet pickups as work vehicles. Bigger but very cheap and unreliable. |
